NEWS - 31st May 2005 SEPPI Seppi have introduced a new SMWA Multipla with a new clutch system to disengage the wing mowers automatically when they are raised from the ground. This allows the mower to mow with 1, 2 or 3 sections mowing and also adds a very good safety feature to the machine. The Multipla is available in widths of 5m, 6m & 6.5m cut. Fixed knife rotor options have been added to the BML L excavator mounted mulching heads. A new Midiforst Drago has been developed to mulch and collect material up to 15cm – 6” diameter. The material is mulched and blown into a trailer connected to the rear of the mulcher. This is especially useful for the biomass industry. Seppi m will be exhibiting at Euroforest in St Bonnet de Joux France from 16 – 18 June. Lamberhurst will be exhibiting at the Game Fair at Broadlands, Hants in the UK from 28th – 30th July and the APF Demonstration at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire in the UK from 21st – 23rd September. FROM THE MARCH UPDATE Seppi have introduced a range of fixed knife mulchers, which will engage the soil to a depth of 30cm depending on the model. The new range will be known as the Midiforst dt Fresa, the Superforst Fresa and the Maxiforst Fresa These machines will be ideal for those customers who wish to incorporate mulched material, or mulch the roots system. The new machines have casings that are reinforced with Hardox. More details will be issued in the next Seppi News. A new SMW low profile flail mower is now available for use in high density orchards. This mower has a lower belt housing, being only 21” – 53cm high. The machines are available from 0.85m to 2.00m – 33” – 79”.
